Data centers in Georgia were responsible for $5.3 billion in total economic output between July 2020 and June 2021. [1]

Tax Revenue

Between July 2020 and June 2021, the data center industry in Georgia generated $92.4 million in state tax revenue and $101.5 million in local tax revenue. [1]

For each $1 of forgone tax revenue from Georgia’s High-Tech Data Center Equipment Exemption, the state accrues approximately $10.50 in value-added impact. [2]
